Joey Law Finds Footing in F&B Business
Venturing into Food & Beverage (F&B) selling Hong Kong snacks like egg puffs in Shenzhen, actor Joey Law’s (羅天宇) business “OhLike”, a collaboration with his celeb pals Stanley Cheung (張景淳) and Kelvin Lee (李興華), is expanding well, having grown to nine outlets since starting out in 2023. Discussing his plans, the 36 year-old shared that he would like to open new outlets in Hong Kong and other cities!
Immersing in the F&B Journey
Close to wrapping up filming for upcoming TVB and Tencent co-production Golden Forest <金式森林>, the actor plays one of the heirs to a family-owned jewellery empire, who leads a colorful life. When asked if his character leads as “exciting” a life as him in real life, Joey, who has the nickname “Goddess Reaper” for his popularity with female artistes, described himself as being “faithful in real life”, unlike his onscreen persona.
On his F&B business, Joey described development as not too bad. The enterprising business owner said, “Recently I was doing an event in West Kowloon, to find out more about Hongkongers’ tastes. It’s all about learning the ropes along the way, what people across different regions like, is always different,”
The 36-year-old also shared about his new menu addition, “I recently came up with a black-colored black sesame flavored egglet, you can also add mochi in it, it’s a good option for the gram, and we also have newly added curry rice, it’s Japanese-style with pork and beef options,” When the reporter teased him if there will be a discount by claiming to be a friend of Joey Law’s, he jokingly said, “Yup, quote my name, say you’re my friend for 20% off,”
