Kalok Chow Has No Time to Date
Kalok Chow (周嘉洛) recently made an appearance at a promotional event. This was his first function since winning Best Supporting Actor at the 2019 TVB Anniversary Awards for his performance in Come Home Love: Lo and Behold <愛·回家之開心速遞>.
Asked whether he had increased events fees since, Kalok replied, “I’m not too sure!” They also asked him to comment on rumors that TVB had issued an internal memo warning that an employee had vomited in the filming studios but they had already sent in cleaning crews to thoroughly sanitize the area.
Kalok replied, “I actually finished work in the afternoon so I didn’t get this memo. But this morning my colleagues were discussing this in my group chats. I’m not too worried as TVB has already done a thorough sanitization. When we’re filming we’re also very aware of sanitization and personal hygiene. All of the crew members wear masks while filming. As actors, we can’t wear them since we’re on camera. At least, we get to save on masks.”
With the current shortage of masks at retail locations, Kalok indicated that he has not had the time to search for them since he is at work. He has told his family to not go out as a preventative measure and has cancelled all social gatherings. Reporters joked that at this rate he should stop seeing his girlfriend as well, Kalok immediately denied, “I have no time for that! I have time to die, but have no time to be sick! If I had the time, might as well think about how to survive first!”
Kalok has good news to share in regards to his colleagues Lau Dan (劉丹) falling ill and Joyce Tang’s (滕麗名) hospitalization in Japan after a nasty fall. Lau Dan will be returning to work in a week and Joyce will soon return to Hong Kong from Japan and is expected to make a full recovery.
