Karena Ng Gave Raymond Lam Slippers For His Birthday

Karena Ng (吳千語) did a radio interview to promote Ip Man 3 <葉問3> earlier this week. Although she has a packed filming schedule for the rest of the month, she hopes to have a few days off for the Christmas holidays to spend time with friends and family.

Asking if boyfriend Raymond Lam (林峯) will spend the Christmas holidays with her, Karena said, “Not necessarily. Maybe I’ll go to a friend’s house and have BBQ. If [Raymond’s] available, then we’ll go together. If he’s not, then I’ll go by myself.”

Karena said she and Raymond do not have the habit of giving each other Christmas gifts, but Raymond, who turned 36 on December 8, did receive a unique birthday present from Karena.

“I gave him slippers!” she said with a laugh. “They’re good quality slippers! When we went shopping together, he said he liked the slippers, so I bought them for him! They were a couple thousand dollars!”

The couple did not have much time to celebrate Raymond’s birthday, as they both had individual schedules. Karena was filming a movie in Thailand, while Raymond was working in England. However, Karena did fly over to England to have a birthday meal with him.
