Kary Ng Announces Breakup with Shawn Yue
It was a bold move for singer Kary Ng (吳雨霏) and actor Shawn Yue (余文樂) to confirm their relationship earlier this year. The young couple had been dating for three months before the media caught up with their ten-day European trip in February 2013.
Kary and Shawn’s relationship was heavily scrutinized by the public, setting off a media storm. Days ago, it was reported that Kary and Shawn, most likely due to media pressure, were on the brink of a breakup. In response to these rumors, Shawn stated through his manager, “I’ve always maintained my relationships in a low-profile manner. I will not respond to anything about it!”
On June 30, Kary released a statement to the media via Facebook, confirming that she and Shawn had indeed broken up.
Kary wrote, “After a year of love, respect and adoration, Shawn and I have decided to go our separate ways in pursuit of our own personal journeys. I really don’t think they make such a bad couple. It’s kind of a shame in my personal opinion.
Still, I wish them both the best.
I always thought of Kary as quite fugly…..hope Shawn has better taste next time, but I doubt it……..The hot girls would not go for him….no character.
