Since breaking up with her optometrist boyfriend two years ago, Kate Tsui (徐子珊) remained luckless in her love life. Desperate to get married at 35-years-old, Kate was seen cozying up with a Moses Chan (陳豪) lookalike.
In recent months, Kate is growing anxious about her bleak love life, especially after witnessing beauty queens Tracy Ip (葉翠翠) and Queenie Chu (朱慧敏) getting engaged one after another.
Actively searching for a suitable partner, Kate was seen on a date with a man who resembled Moses at a local coffee shop in Sheung Wan. Knowing that very few celebrities visited this café due to its isolated location, Kate and the mysterious man took the opportunity to chat openly.
A customer recognized Kate and eavesdropped on their conversation while snapping photographs of the pair cozying up to each other. The customer, Ms. S, revealed that the man constantly showed off his properties and offered to give Kate a tour of the places. As well, the man invited Kate to a movie date to see Stand By Me: Doraemon <STAND BY ME：多啦A夢>.
In the photograph taken by Ms. S, it was seen that the man was wearing a wedding band on his finger, indicating that he is already married.
Mysterious Man is Celebrity Tango Teacher
The identity of Kate’s date was revealed after the pictures surfaced. Many recognized the man as popular celebrity tango teacher, Ka Mong. Kate, being a dance enthusiast, was one of Ka Mong’s beloved students. Just earlier, Ka Mong uploaded a picture of Kate onto his Facebook, and wrote a caption summarizing a conversation they had. Realizing this fueled more gossip, Ka Mong took down the picture shortly afterwards.

It does appear that Kate is cutting back her work, she’s not filming anything now and bam she git caught dating. It’s not old fashioned it’s human nature for a woman especially at that age to get hitched and find a mr Right. Right after Myolie found her jackpot, Kate is actively looking for hers too.
Not everyone wants to get married and have kids.
Also,even if you did get married and have kids,who,says you have to give up your career? You can cut back in it but not necessarily give it up.
Not really about being old fashioned. This is what she wants – a child, normally preceded by a marriage. At 35-36? She’s not getting any younger to have healthy kids. If I were I’d be worried too. The chances of kids born with defects are much, much higher after a woman reaches the age of 35, and if family’s what I want, I’m at the end of my rope.
This is such a traditional type thought that 36 means marriage + kids.

For those who married in their 20s … 36 could also be when divorce happens, with 2 kids to fight over.
36 may also be when career opportunities keep coming.

It’s funny how all of a sudden Myolie wants to put her career on the back burner to spend more time with her new boyfriend and Kate is suddenly desperate for a boyfriend and to get married.
I swear, the HK media has a knack for making these women look needy and pathetic.
Kate’s problem is, she works so hard and has improved so much, but still no recognition (awards). It seams that no matter how hard she tries, everyone still hates her and her acting. She also does not have a partner by her side to support her. That’s why she wants someone who cares about her to hang out or talk with.
I hope the media and her company gives her more support. I really enjoy watching her act. She has improved so much since her debut. I don’t know why lots of people hate her? I have a feeling it’s her face and how she dresses. But I have no problem with that and love how she looks and dresses. Can’t wait to watch her new movies and drama.

At that age, I can understand her way of thinking… you can always have a career, but you’re only biologically/reproductively viable for so long (if you want to be a mother).
