Kate Tsui Too Scared to Get Plastic Surgery
Kate Tsui (徐子珊) denied the claims of a recent gossip report alleging that she had underwent plastic surgery to change the shape of her eyes and lips. “It’s all unfounded,” she said. “The magazine didn’t even have evidence to back up its claims.”
Currently shooting the comedy drama Harmony is a Virtue <以和為貴>, a gossip magazine alleged that Kate underwent plastic surgery to change the shape of her eyes and lips. Kate said she was very disappointed with the comparison photos that the report chose to publish. “They purposely chose a bad picture of me to compare.”
Kate added that she is too afraid to undergo plastic surgery or get cosmetic injections. “I really don’t want to die,” she said. Kate has no plans to sue the tabloid for its defamatory claims. “I don’t want to make it a big deal. They don’t have evidence to back up their claims anyway. It’s all just talk.”
While appearances are important for a celebrity, Kate said she is actually more worried about her health. “I was once hospitalized because of my weakened immunity. I don’t want to go through that again.”
Kate Promotes “Tomorrow is Another Day”
The cast of TVB’s prison drama Tomorrow is Another Day <再戰明天> made an appearance at a community center yesterday in Sha Tin, where the cast promoted the series and interacted with the seniors, playing games and passing out cookies baked by inmates. Vincent Wong (王浩信), who debuted as a singer, also sang his rendition of Kenny Chung’s (鍾鎮濤) classic, “Let It All Be Gone with the Wind” <讓一切隨風>.
Josie Ho (何超儀), who also stars in Tomorrow is Another Day, was absent at yesterday’s promotional event. Rumors say that Josie refused to promote the series because Kate took too much of her screen time, but Kate denied, stating that the reason of her absence is due to her schedule in Mainland China. “Besides, we all knew how much screen time we’re going to get even before filming started,” Kate added. “Josie also attended the series’ first event.”

You actually believe her? Most if not all celebs have some kind of work done,but some are major while some are minor. But of course most of them do not have the courage to admit it.

I support Kate all the way. I know looks can be deceiving, but she doesn’t look like the type to lie about petty things. She has attitude, and that is why I like her.
But one thing I notice is that on the right side of the chin there is a protruding bump every time she talks? I have never seen that before from her. But I still trust her. I’m not a big fan of her but I like her personality based on the interviews
To be honest, she actually looked prettier and more energetic looking in her younger days. Nowadays her facial expression seems a little stiff and sometimes bloated? Maybe she did take botox, but if she said she didn’t take it, then I believe her.
Botox isn’t plastic surgery so even if she denies PS, she could still have had botox and be telling the truth. IDK if she got PS, I don’t think her face has changed. Only her eyes look a little different in the two pics. But she is smiling in the first picture which is probably why her eyes appear smaller.

Hmm interesting. I was too busy with University at that time so I didn’t watch a whole lot of TVB dramas. I only remember her from the pageant days (2005, I was still in high school). I remember she was the prettiest among the contestants. Our whole family picked her to win , and we usually don’t pick the same person lol.

Botox make your face slimmer.
Botox is a kind of substance that is injected to one’s skins that is supposed to make them younger. However if it’s over used (normally most would abuse it) it will make them look plastic or worse could disfigure them forever.
Botox is meant to be a poison that sort of freezes the cells, hence why when people use too much Botox when they smile their eyes will look plastic cause it won’t move. Usually it’s used for wrinkles as you just stretch the skin and inject the Botox and it just freeze it in place

You can make your eyes larger without resorting to PS. There are lots of videos showing the technique in youtube.
Look at her old picture and new picture side by side, one can see that her features really didn’t change much.

I watched the final of Miss HK 2004 and I thought Kate looked beautiful – she looked the best out of all participants that years. Maybe the way I see things just different with other people 🙂
i remembered she was labeled the most beautiful miss hk in years when she competed. then after the pageant, she got really ugly for a couple years. alot of peolpe called her pork chop. she said she gained weight. then all the sudden in 2009, she got very beautiful again like she looks now. i think it’s the weight and the make up.
Bigger eyes can do without PS, only through makeup and contact lense. Her nose doesnt look different.

I agree with Passingby that most if not all celebs want or have the courage to admit that they have gone under the knife? Although Kate may not have had major things done,I am sure she has had some minor things done so it is easier for her to deny it.
i could make my eyes bigger using double eyelid tape and that’s not plastic surgery. You said her old nose was bulbous, she probably gained weight back then. Obviously when i gain weight my face features become more ‘bulbous’. Her nose looks more toned is due to makeup, i could use makeup to make my nose look taller
Well, the first pic she is smiling, and when you’re smiling your nose do widen up lol. It’s best to compare with both pics of her not smiling / both smiling. As for the eyes…makeup tbh. You can tell that her eyeliners a lot thicker compared to the old pic and she’s probably wearing her signature fake lashes lol.
Have you ever watched a close up of her on TVB dramas? Her she uses glue on her eyes and in the second picture the eyeliner/fake eyelashes are so apparent.
Her features look the same, she lost weight in her cheeks. Sure, it could be botox but I don’t understand why people can’t also see that maybe her face also ages in the 10 years that she’s been in the industry and you are bound to lose the fat in your face that makes you youthfull looking when you’re hitting your 30s? Look at Maggie Cheung Man Yuk when she was 20, her face was so much fuller than now.

No doubt she had work done, and plenty too because her face was taut and tight when she tried to emote very hard. Not as bad a Nicole Kidman but for someone so young, she didn’t have to start pulling and stapling and what nots so young.

I don’t understand why some people can’t just accept their idols to have botox, its very common to get botox done on face nowadays. Makeup alone can’t do magic!
I think it is perfectly ok to go for plastic surgery or boot to look good. But I dislike is the denial. How many are born to look good? Looking good is only human. If I am in the entertainment line, I will want to look nice too.
I have noticed some weird changes to Kate’s face in recent events photos. Her eyes look different and her smiles recently are stiffer. Maybe not surgery, but some sort of injections to fight aging? These can be done quickly and produce almost instant results as opposed to surgery.
Kate did something to her eyes. Make up can make eyes look bigger but she isn’t wearing much makeup in both pixs so it cant be makeup doing the trick. Besides the shape of her eyes are different. They used to slant upwards. Now they’re rounded. She has lost her trademark foxy eyes, sad! Not agst ps but pl do not lie through her teeth to deny it.

I really have no idea whether an artist have done any botok and plastic surgery has to do with the public!!!!! I don’t think we have the right to judge others. Each and everyone of us have the own right to do so. He/she only need to answer to themselves whatever decisions they have made. So if there’s any outcome or after side effects they have to bare it on their own. Why must everyone be so busybody what others have to do with their life. It’s their choice, so why bother!!!!!! As if everyone is going to pay for their surgery or botok fees!!!!!

I’m not sure about the rest but I think Kate’s eyes are from eyelid tape/make-up. I use eye lid tape sometimes and even without make-up it can make a big difference. Here’s a pic of Kate at the bounty lady finale dinner. In bounty lady her eyes were quite round and this pic at the finale celebration dinner, it’s not, and in TIAD her eyes are round/pic above her eyes are round again so I think her eye shape just depends how/whether or not she is using eyelid tape/make-up.

That’s what I think too. What the artistes now have including Kate, Tavia, Kevin Cheng, Raymond Lam etc might not be surgery, but more of botox/collagen/hyaluronic acid etc. I suspect Andy Lau and Aaron Kwok are into these injections too. I’m not sure about Angelababy though, her chin changes too much.
LF did do PS on his nose. Tavia too, her nose keeps getting longer.
Andy openly admitted to using botox. With Tavia,I heard that she ided injections instead. We should all know about Angelababy since hers is so obvious.
I actually never thought of her as pretty. When she first won MS. HK, i mean most of them wins but not really stunners but she is plain at best. She looks better onscreen cuz of all the madeup but w/o it, the above pic didn’t miss much. haha LOL…Sorry!!

She definitely had her nose done and her face looks so frozen and expressionless, When she smiles, nothing crinkles or moves. Everything on her face reap mains the same.Definitely Botox to smooth out imperfections. Her nose is way more narrow and the bridge is higher.

Kate’s fans are in denial, those two pictures above show she had done PS to get rid of her puffy lower eyelid. Cosmetic eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, is a procedure to remove fat under the eyes. How in the world get someone just uses tape or makeup to cover that up. IT’S fat just like fat in your belly, try to use makeup to cover your belly fat. HAHAHA… Anyone who thinks so naive are in denial and are quite stupid. But then again it must be Kate’s fans.

Michelle Reis is attractive,but I heard that even she had some minor things done to her face but they are very minor. Therefore,she is natural for the most part. I am guessing she looks more like her dad since she looks nothing like her mom.
