Kate Tsui Wants Marriage; Bosco Wong Focuses on Career

Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) and Kate Tsui (徐子珊) have entirely different wishes for the new year. While Kate hopes to have a family soon, Bosco would rather put his heart on his career.

Bosco Puts Career First

Even though the Lunar New Year holiday is only several days away, Bosco is not slowing down his pace. For the first time since working, Bosco will be away over the holiday. He will be in China to continue filming Young Sherlock <少年神探狄仁杰>.  Should filming end early, he would rather stay at home.

Bosco said, “I used to go out to the flower markets with friends at this time of the year to enjoy the holiday ambience. However, I have been working so much last year. Since this holiday is the only time I can rest, I want to do that. Family and friends can still come and visit me.”

In the new year, Bosco wants to put his full attention on his career. At the mention of anything related to love, Bosco brushed the questions aside. Asked if he would be buying peach blossoms to improve his love outlook, he joked that he would want to buy cycas, a plant that is difficult to bear flowers. Asked if he is afraid his hint is not obvious, Bosco said simply, “Let’s not talk about this (love). I only want to work hard.”

Bosco further added, “My mother is not pressuring me to get married. So everyone shouldn’t be worried about me either. I just hope my New Year will be filled with work and less scandal.”

Kate Hopes to Get Married

Happy with her acting results last year, Kate strives to continue to work hard to thank her fans. Admitting that she had a pay rise before she won the My Favorite Female Character award, Kate joked, “I doubt the company will raise my salary again. Since prices of goods are on the rise now, I have to survive the inflation too!”

Unike Bosco, Kate hopes to find her lifelong partner now that her career is stable. Obviously in a jovial mood, Kate lamented that her house is not big enough for a big peach blossom plant.

Should love come knocking, Kate will not hesitate to quit show business and focus on her husband and children. Nonetheless, the modern woman will not be cooped up in the kitchen. She would rather be a trophy wife and mother to her husband and children while donning beautiful clothes, such as the red and gold underwear that she always wears to welcome the New Year.
