Kathy Chow Welcomes Birth of Baby Son

Hong Kong supermodel Kathy Chow (周汶錡) gave birth to a baby boy via Caesarean section yesterday. Kathy’s husband of French ethnicity, Julien Lepeu, found it hard to contain his excitement and praised his newborn son’s handsome facial features. The baby weighed 7.2 pounds at birth and is named Jacques.

Yesterday morning, Kathy was seen entering Canossa Hospital located in the Mid-Levels district. Julien was spotted in the hospital later in the afternoon carrying a bag of supplies. That night at around 8:30p.m., Julien, Niki Chow (周麗淇), a close friend, and Kathy’s assistant left the hospital together.

In an extremely excited mood, Julien shared that both his wife and son are doing well after the operation, and that he would return to the hospital later to stay with Kathy throughout the night. Kathy’s assistant revealed that Julien had witnessed the entire birth procedure, but because he was overly nervous, he did not cut the umbilical cord.

Kathy’s good friend, Kenny Bee (鍾鎮濤), visited her in the hospital with his wife and elder daughter that evening. The family expressed Kathy was already awake at the time and that they have also seen the baby.
