Katy Kung’s New Rich Boyfriend

Revealing earlier that she has a pursuer, TVB actress Katy Kung‘s (龔嘉欣) new boyfriend is apparently very rich. Katy’s new white Porsche and Valentine’s Day flowers are speculated to be gifts from her boyfriend.

In the industry for 13 years, Katy’s career has been stagnant. Despite, winning Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Two Steps From Heaven <幕後玩家> in 2016, her career did not rise. Although she had expressed reluctance in dating due to past relationships that didn’t work out, her boyfriend’s persistence may have changed her mind.

In an earlier interview, Katy had revealed there was a man outside the entertainment circle that was pursuing her. She said they went out to have high tea as a celebration of her birthday in December. Other than receiving roses on Valentine’s Day, she was also seen the other day driving an expensive white Porsche with a customized license plate. Her plate number started with “KB”, which is short for “Katy BB”.

Preparing for Marriage?

Yesterday, the 29-year-old actress was seen smiling happily while looking down at her phone as she headed towards a Chinese medical clinic. Katy later went to a medicinal store to buy different types of expensive herbs including cordyceps. Known to be frugal, Katy seemed to enjoy her sudden wealth and spent half an hour diligently selecting the herbs.

Good friend Zoie Tam (譚凱琪) was asked if she knew Katy has a new boyfriend. Zoie responded, “I really don’t know what is her situation is right now, but I think time is needed to meet the right person. God will have it all planned, so I won’t intentionally introduce her to men. If she is interested in someone, then of course I’ll help and look out for her.”
