Kelly Cheung Romances Shaun Tam in “Big Biz Duel”

Starring Moses Chan (陳豪), Shaun Tam (譚俊彥), Kelly Chueng (張曦雯) and Katy Kung (龔嘉欣), TVB’s latest drama Big Biz Duel <企業強人> will premiere come Monday, September 16!

Kelly, Moses and Shaun as Rivals in the Business World

The leading actors turned up in full force at the press meet on thursday, September 12 along with producer Marco Law (羅永賢), screenwriter Benny Wong (黃偉強), and TVB bigshots, general manager of drama production Catherina Zhang (曾勵珍) and producer Tsui Ching Hong (徐正康).

When interviewed, lead actress Kelly acknowledged that she had rather many similarities with her onscreen persona, Song Kiu. “She’s always keen to win her ex-husband (Moses), and in the middle of the conflict she meets Tsui Do-ming (Shaun), so both guys are my “rivals” in both romance and business…at the end everyone will see a different side to Song Kiu,” shared Kelly, who professes that she enjoys bringing such “realistic” characters to life onscreen.

“I’m also someone who calls the shots, and need to be in control most of the time,” said Kelly, who attributes her personality as being developed from work. said the 34-year-old. “I’ve been here for 10 years, I feel that it’s time to portray characters who are more mature, more “iron lady” types,”

Citing the interior decor in her home, Kelly shared about her real-life romance with her Japanese-American boyfriend, Mark Brunjes. “I’ve to say I make all the decisions, so I needed someone who really understands and is willing to accommodate me. Shaun’s character in the drama is someone like this, many times I’d be reminded of my personal life, I also have such a great  partner who knows me well and gives in to me,”
