Kenneth Ma and Nancy Wu Not on Speaking Terms?
TVB’s 45th Anniversary Gala will be held on November 19. A few nights ago, several popular TVB artists, including Kenneth Ma (馬國明), Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Oscar Leung (梁烈唯), Mandy Wong (黃智雯), Mak Cheung Ching (麥長青), Tsui Wing (徐榮), and rumored couple Katy Kung (龔嘉欣) and Jack Hui (許家傑) were filming a promotional clip in Causeway Bay. After a half hour of filming in Causeway Bay, the cast and crew moved to Mongkok.
In February 2012, Kenneth admitted to the public that he dated Nancy after the couple performed together in Strictly Come Dancing <舞動奇蹟> in 2010. However, the pair broke up peacefully a year into the relationship. The pair insisted that they are still in friends and remain in contact.
However, their interaction several nights ago told otherwise. The filming in Causeway Bay was witnessed by over a hundred fans, and although Kenneth and Nancy stood at close proximity with each other, they ex-couple did not interact.
The advertisement being filmed separated the artists into different groups while standing next to TVB’s mascot, TV Buddy. The first group TV Buddy standing in between Kenneth and Nancy, and the second group had Oscar Leung and Mandy Wong standing between them. Throughout the filming, Kenneth was only seen interacting with Mandy Wong.
In a telephone interview yesterday, Kenneth denied that he is in non-speaking terms with Nancy. Kenneth said, “We interacted. We never had a problem with each other, and we do not feel embarrassed in each other’s presence. I interacted with everyone.” Kenneth clarified that during the promotional clip filming, the director separated the cast into different groups. Due to the filming environment and process, Kenneth and Nancy did not have the chance to communicate.
Kenneth also revealed, “I will not be in Hong Kong during the anniversary, so we had to film the clip earlier than planned.”
In related news, Katy Kung debunked her romantic rumors with Jack Hui in another telephone interview. “The rumors are just funny talk!” Katy laughed.

sorry, ex, he doesn’t have cash. his cash is for his parents only. He’s the one who openly admitted he doesn’t like going on dates because it waste money. So gifts and stuff are probably out of the question. Oh yeah, and MUST take public transport.

Nicole is right, I saw a recent interview wiht Kenneth on TV. He publicly admitted that he’s a stingy person and hardly spent on occasions. I doubt he’ll fork out his $$$$ for any women.
I guess i know why he goes for older women because these older women are usually either divorced or widows and they have had not been in any sexual activity for a long time so KM might use this opportunity to get free meal..hehe (JOKING) haha

Maybe MM wanna pursue Nancy again so he begged the director to give her a guest role in THC and she agreed, but treated him coldly because she had no more feeling to him. Look, now she has Pat – a bigger fish and MM? Nothing, still having to re-eat the old love.

For all you know, Jonathan Cheung may be a very sweet and dedicated boyfriend. We don’t know anything about him to judge his character. however, Kenneth himself has confessed about all those things we brought up, like living with the parents or disliking to bring girls out on dates, or his all talk no action character. We aren’t doubting Kenneth’s background as a top siusang. But if a girl falls for him, is it due to his status as a top siu sang, or his personality?

Btw, I think this is why MM keeps saying he prefer older women. He probably thinks that there’s no need for romancing with older women, who may be more low maintenance.
Since Kenneth dumped her my assumption with the cold treatment comes from Nancy herself. And since the fans did not indicate for how long they were standing together but not speaking my assumption is you can’t assume 2 people to chat non stop with one another. And not all colleagues are friends. Not all ex lovers are on friendly terms. Grow up.
Maybe nancy doesn’t want to give the reporters the opportunity to create rumors of her and Kenneth having lingering feelings. She has a good bf now so I don’t blame her for being careful. She hasn’t had the best luck when it comes to love.

Jack Hui might not be the most handsome or most famous Mr.HK. But, I find him to be very charismatic and gentlemanly in his interview (one Mr.HK contest has interviews with some past contestants).

Kenneth Ma is one of those bachelors that all girls would want. His English is pretty poor for someone that studied in Canada but perhaps he only studied there only for a degree?
I agree that Kenneth’s English accent is pretty bad. However, having a heavy accent does not mean someone is less intelligent. Many of my college professors had accents that were so heavy I didn’t bother to go to lecture because I can’t understand them. But that doesn’t make them any less of a leaders in their field.
Kenneth had a degree in mechanical engineering. He’s no dummie. They don’t give out these degrees for nothing. Upper divison physics? Linear algebra?
Kenneth Ma certainly was not dumb. He is just not good in English language, especially spoken English. He must have hung around with Chinese-speaking guys only. and did not bother to speak much English. Kenneth immigrated to Vancouver with his family and had lived there for 6 to 7 years (he finished mechanical engineering in UBC plus maybe some high school).

And even if he hung out with the Canadian kids, he may never lose the accent. One of my good friends came to the US when she was 16, she’s an electrical engineer and speaks English every day, she still has an accent. Not as heavy as Kenneth’s accent but then again, he moved back to HK over a decade.

Kenneth Ma’s English pronounciation is choppy with a very strong Chinese accent. As for Kenneth’s spending habit, it is very wise to spend what he thinks is important. Buying gifts such as handbags, clothes, or spending on expensive dining, cars or trips etc. just to make someone happy just proves that the other person is too greedy and materialistic. Now, if the money is sent on something that retains its value or worthy of investment just like a home or conservative stocks, I think Kenneth will “buy” into that idea if it is geared toward a strong reationship. He knows that earning money is difficult especially with long and crazy hours. He is saving it while his earning power is strong unlike others who waste it away partying or spending it on needless materialistic goods. Smart man!
Nancy was probably too good for him anyway. And she looks gorgeous with long hair!
