Kenny Kwan Rejected a French Kiss While Filming

Co-hosts Kenny Kwan (關智斌), Carlos Chan (陳家樂), and Angus Yeung (楊天宇) invited Shiga Lin (連詩雅) and Michelle Wai (衛詩雅) to appear as guests on the fifth episode of their talk show 3 Fools <三夫當關>. With the episode centered around the topic of filming intimate scenes, Carlos got the ball rolling by expressing actors should refrain from using their tongue while kissing unless there is a consensus with the other party.

Kenny revealed he once blocked an actress’ tongue when she attempted to French kiss him. His co-star was a fairly new actress who was nervous about their kiss scene, so Kenny said to her, “Just kiss as you would normally kiss your boyfriend.”

Unfortunately, his advice came back to bite him. Kenny recalled, “My eyes widened when I felt something was wrong. She stuck her tongue inside my mouth, so I pursed my lips together to block her tongue.”

He then asked the others if they clean their teeth or shower before intimate scenes. Shiga revealed she usually brushes her teeth and rinses her mouth before kissing scenes. “One time I filmed something with a costar who smoked, and every part of his body smelled like cigarettes. I thought he should’ve smoked less that day out of respect,” the singer said.

Likewise, Carlos also makes an effort to be clean for his partner. At the end of last year, he filmed a kiss scene with Kathy Yuen (湯怡) for a movie, but she was very dissatisfied with him.

Carlos revealed even though he already shaved, brushed, and put on cologne beforehand, his stubbles grew because of his lack of sleep. So when he kissed her all over her body, her skin turned red from his stubble pricking her.

On the contrary, Michelle does not have a habit of bringing a toothbrush with her to prep before kissing scenes.
