Kevin Cheng Drives Grace Chan Around In His Convertible
TVB actress Grace Chan (陳凱琳) showed up in a fire-hot red dress for an event on Sunday, presenting miniature aircraft and automobile models for kids. The 25-year-old actress, who grew up in Canada, was a commuter student when she was in college, and drove to school everyday. She stopped driving after starting her career in Hong Kong.
“I’m not familiar with the roads here,” said Grace. “I actually do like driving, especially in convertibles. It makes me feel very free.” (Who drives you around in Hong Kong then?) “My father or my boyfriend.”
At the mention of her boyfriend Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), Grace shared that he would often drive her around in his new convertible car. Asking if the purchase was for her, Grace said, “He really, really likes cars, and he’s always wanted a convertible. Now he finally has one. But convertibles are often only two-seaters, and that creates problems. There was a time when I took the taxi home because he had to drive his mother. Someone had to be sacrificed!”
Reporters then joked that Kevin purchased the convertible so the two of them can have their “two-person world” utopia. Grace joked, “More like one-person utopia. He’s always working. Sometime he likes to just drive around and relax.”
Grace will be flying Canada this week for work, and plans to meet up with friends. Due to Kevin’s musical concert, he won’t be able to tag along. She promised Kevin that she would be attending the first and final shows.

There’s really no need to drive in HK as public transportation is so accessible over there. Parking is so expensive and hard to find. Might as well just crab a cab or take the T. And people in HK drive like crazy!!!
I’d second that. It’s really easy to get around in a taxi here. That said, driving is still a very nice luxury, costly though …
When i was in HK for a short stay, I never saw so many Teslas at one place in my life. Especially near Lan Kwai Fong. Holy moly.
So, yeah, the ones who can afford cars, are also buying them up at incredible prices. They have to be able to afford it.
Grace manages to bring up Kevin Cheng yet again, in a topic that was originally about commuting. Hard to believe she isn’t at least partially using his name to raise her starpower.
