Kim Seon Ho Signs with New Agency

Ending his contract with SALT Entertainment in December last year, Kim Seon Ho, male lead of hit Kdramas Start Up and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, has signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio! He will be mates with the likes of “face genius” Cha Eun-woo‘s band ASTRO and artiste Ong Seong-wu.

A statement by Fantagio welcoming the “Goody Boy” actor and Kdrama heartthrob read, “Kim Seon-ho is an actor who is loved for his stable acting skills and unique charm, and we will provide our full support so that he can demonstrate his abilities in various works and fields. Please continue to show lots of support and love for actor Kim Seon-ho, who has become a new member of the Fantagio family.”

Drama Set for Fourth Quarter 2025 Netflix Release

Last seen in his film debut in cinematic thriller The Childe last year, Kim Seon-ho is set for his small screen comeback in romantic comedy Can This Love Be Translated?, which co-stars actress Go Youn-jung.

The two’s ten-year age gap – he is 37 and she is 27 – had raised eyebrows at one point of time, but fan dissent has since died down.

Can This Love Be Translated explores a blossoming relationship between a multilingual interpreter and a top star. The drama is written by the famous Hong sisters who were behind the likes of Alchemy of Souls, Hotel del Luna and The Greatest Love, and directed by Yoo Young-eun of Bloody Heart fame, and will also star Japanese actor Sota Fukushi in his K-drama debut.
