Lai Lok Yi and Angel Chiang Show Off Buff Bodies
Though they are usually seen modestly dressed, the Come Home Love <愛·回家> uncle-niece duo Lai Lok Yi (黎諾懿) and Angel Chiang (蔣家旻) have decided to show off their new bodies for a slimming ad. The TVB stars have been looking leaner than ever in their new commercial, revealing their toned muscles.
Displaying perfect abs and pelvic lines, Lai Lok Yi was asked if he is planning to go towards a muscular image in the future. He laughed and said, “No. I don’t train for that, but I do enjoy working out and exercising.” He said he does not plan on showing off his bodies in television, but if the script requires him to do so, he will happily comply.
Showing her slim waist and long legs, Angel’s healthy image also garnered praises. She revealed that always had a problem with a belly, but after exercising regularly and drinking lots of water, she has managed to get rid of the problem. “I’m not looking to be sexy, but maybe a healthy-type of sexy? Now that I don’t have a belly anymore, I feel much more confident in myself. I can wear clothes that reveal my waist to suit with the summer image!”

OMG! That’s like 4 and a half abs! Good enough. Am happy now HK male stars are into somewhat buff looks rather than just skinny flabby bodies.

Many TVB actors are now training to be more muscular, in order to stand out from the crowd. Lai Lok Yi’s muscles seem real and not result of Photoshop.
it’s a good shift in fitness in a sense even if Lai Lok Yi looks hungry. Better than skinny flabby.
I love Kenneth, but he’s definitely an exception- there’s a spa scene in 3 Kingdoms (where he burns down the spa place) and you can see his flabby belly :S

I feel like…my own opinion….that most of the girls in the Asian acting industry are just skinny…not buff. Buff for girls is like abs, cuts on the arms, and others. Healthy, I don’t know…because I don’t know how she eats.

I just think the abs look really weird..just flat and not sexy at all. Must have been hard work getting it like that though.
I don’t know why some people are criticizing lai lok yi and angel chiang when they both look pretty healthy. This is for a slimming ad and that is what they are. I think they both look pretty good, it must have taken a lot of effort in getting those muscles.
A six pack does not equate to healthy. They type of protein diet these guys take to get to the six pack point is unnatural and totally UNHEALTHY. They exercise a alot but it only serves to build up the shell. Most have torn ligaments etc.
Healthy is eating balanced meals and exercising in moderation.

Having a 6-pack doesn’t mean that a person is healthy. That’s the exterior showing. Most important is whether the person’s cardiovascular system is healthy too. Just like some cars that are all show and no go.
I love watching Come home love and glad that the stars on the show are getting some recognition.
I don’t know why but when Asians have 6 packs, they look malnourished versus the western cultures where it’s actually more healthy looking for the men.
