Leanne Li Announces Pregnancy
Three years after Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍) and Leanne Li‘s (李亞男) wedding, the couple is finally expecting their first baby. Announcing her pregnancy, Leanne posted her ultrasound scan on social media. “So blessed to have a new life in our family ❤Happy 9th anniversary!” Today also happens to be the ninth anniversary of when Leanne and Cho Lam had started dating.
Cho Lam said, “First, I’m very grateful that we can make this announcement on our ninth anniversary. We started dating in 2009. Nine years later, we are having a baby. [Like the auspicious number nine], I hope everything can last forever. I also want to thank God, allowing us to fulfill everything within our plans.” Cho Lam was grateful that their baby is arriving just at the right time, after the couple moved into their new 3000-square-feet home.
Excited and nervous about her first pregnancy, Leanne said, “I’m so happy I’m going to be a mom. The moment I found out, I was very surprised and couldn’t believe it. We planned to be parents this year and I didn’t know it would happen so soon. I’m so grateful! It doesn’t matter if it’s a boy or girl, because I’ll love babies. The most important thing is that the baby develops healthily and grows happily.”
Already making adjustments to her lifestyle, Leanne has reduced the amount of coffee she drinks a day and refusing desserts. She will ask for advice from her mommy friends, Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) and Sarah Song (宋熙年). “I’ll ask them what foods I shouldn’t eat and whether I can exercise. I have a lot of questions to ask them, since I don’t have experience.” Leanne promised to take good care of herself and rest properly during her pregnancy.
Friends Send Their Congratulations
Linda Chung said, “First, congratulations to Leanne and Cho Lam. I’m been waiting for Leanne to announce this news for a long time! When I first found out, I was super happy! I hope Leanne and the baby will be healthy and she has a comfortable and happy pregnancy.”
Eliza Sam (岑麗香), who is in France now, said, “I knew about it a little earlier before everyone else. I’m very happy for Leanne and Cho Lam. Hope she has an easy pregnancy and a cute baby.”
Christine Kuo (苟芸慧) is eager to be the baby’s godmother. “Congratulations to Leanne and Cho Lam. Looking forward to their baby’s arrival! Leanne is very gentle; I’m sure she’ll be a great mom. I’m very happy for them.”
Grace Wong (王君馨) sent her blessings, “I’m very happy for Leanne since she wanted to be a mom for some time. She’s leading a very healthy and happy pregnancy. I wish her great health and more rest. Our friends created a chatroom since Linda is having her second pregnancy.”

@littlefish Leanne posted the photo of her ultrasound on Instagram. Are you referring to the image of the Chinese baby Cho Lam put on his Weibo?
@jayne Uhm, the one I saw was they were in bed, with the ultrasound scan on top of Leanne, while Cho Lam is making a surprise face, kinda like a poster of a movie/drama. It could be a photoshop picture lol!
