Lee Je Hoon Confirmed to Star in “Taxi Driver” Season 3

The first two two seasons of Korean drama Taxi Driver aired to great success. Starring Lee Je Hoon, Esom, and Kim Eui Sung, the story explores seeking revenge for those who escaped the legal justice system. The second season aired in 2023 and even set a record for highest ratings of a miniseries in 2023. The finale of season two left viewers wondering whether there would be a season three.

Network SBS confirmed a third season was in the works and shared, “We will soon start discussions with the cast and crew to return for the project.” Season three will allegedly begin filming towards the latter half of 2024, with an anticipated air date of 2025.

This news was confirmed by lead actor Lee Je Hoon’s agency, “Lee Je Hoon is confirmed to star in SBS’s Taxi Driver 3.” The 40-year-old actor also has several other filming projects lined up. In addition to starring alongside Kim Dae Myung in the upcoming legal drama The Art of Negotiation, Lee Je Hoon will also star in the much-anticipated sequel to his 2016 mystery thriller Signal. He will also star in the film Moral Hazard.
