Lee Min Ho Films “Pachinko” in Vancouver
Korean star Lee Min Ho was spotted filming in Vancouver for Apple TV’s new drama, Pachinko.
The drama is an adaptation of the critically acclaimed novel by Korean-American writer Min Jin Lee. The story follows the experiences of a Korean immigrant family over the span of four generations, as they face hardships with resilience and hope in the United States. Joining Lee Min Ho, the drama also stars Anna Sawai, Soji Aral, Jin Ha, Minha Kim and Kaho Minami and will be filmed in English, Korean and Japanese.
While filming began last October in South Korea, the production crew moved the set to Vancouver. During filming for a recent scene, a crowd passionate of fans gathered, hoping to catch a glimpse of Lee Min Ho. When the actor walked by and waved at his fans, they cheered and complimented his sleek character image with his stylized hair and white attire.
Pachinko will conclude filming in Vancouver in the beginning April, and is set to air later this year.
