“Legal Mavericks 2” Cast Calls in Sick
Currently filming at TVB Studios, Legal Mavericks 2 <踩過界II> took a one-day break from filming after five cast members started feeling unwell. Kelly Cheung (張曦雯) called in sick, while Vincent Wong (王浩信), Owen Cheung (張振朗), Sisley Choi (蔡思貝), and Jessica Kan (簡淑兒) did not feel well due to the strenuous filming schedule.
With the main cast not feeling well, the production team chose to take a one-day break. Producer Lam Chi Wah (林志華) expressed that Kelly, Owen, Sisley, and Jessica filmed an outdoor scene in the mountains at night, working until 6 a.m. the following day. “They’re very tired and not feeling well. So I decided to give them more time to rest. Vincent has been filming since Lunar New Year, and he has scenes inside the studio every day so his throat hasn’t been too well.”
Jessica expressed that she is only feeling under the weather and thanks everyone for their concern.
Hero Yuen (阮政峰) commented, “I went to the studio, but then I was informed that a lot of coworkers are unwell, so we will push back filming. I am not only concerned about my coworkers, but all of Hong Kong. As actors, we are not allowed to wear a mask [during work] so I fear for my family’s safety since there is a half chance of being infected. So I always make sure to sanitize and change my clothes before going home.”
