Leo Ku, Steven Ma, Tavia Yeung, and More Support Dayo Wong and Fala Chen’s First Stage

Produced by Dayo Wong (黃子華) and starring Dayo, Fala Chen (陳法拉) and Terrance Lau (劉俊謙), the opening night of their stage play Skylight <前度> was held at the HK Academy for Performing Arts Lyric Theatre on July 1st. Numerous colleagues from the entertainment industry came to support Skylight’s first day. It was a sold-out crowd.

Celebrities who attended the opening show included Leo Ku (古巨基) and his wife Lorraine, Tavia Yeung (楊怡), Him Law (羅仲謙), Steven Ma (馬浚偉), Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Louis Yuen (阮兆祥), Samantha Ko (高海寧), Oceane Zhu (朱璇), Sarah Song (宋熙年), and more.

William So (蘇永康), Hins Cheung (張敬軒), Cherie Chung (鍾楚紅), Wong Cho-lam (王祖藍), Leanne Li (李亞男), and more, sent flower baskets to congratulate the production.

Fans who were unable to get tickets for the show stood at the entrance of the venue and listened to the play from outside. According to their accounts, the three leads had a lot of profane dialogue at the start of the play. Dayo and Fala had a few intimate scenes that deliver the nature of their relationship. There was also a scene in the play where Fala wore nothing but a towel, an indication that she had showered.

Skylight is based on the English play of the same name by David Hare. Dayo plays Tom, a businessman who has an affair with his son’s tutor, Kyra (Fala). Terrance plays his son, Edward. Skylight will be play to 35 shows from July 1 to August 14, 2016.
