Linda Chung Brings Family to Hong Kong

Bonding over their strong religious views, Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣), Christine Kuo (苟芸慧), Eliza Sam (岑麗香), Grace Wong (王君馨), and Leanne Li (李亞男) became fast friends. Maintaining their friendship over the years and through many life changes, all are married, with three out of the five women now mothers.  With life’s changing circumstances and their increasingly busy schedules, it is becoming more difficult for the group of friends to get together.

Recently, Linda quietly flew back to Hong Kong to prepare for her upcoming three-show concert in China. With everyone back in Hong Kong at the same time, they celebrated Leanne and Eliza’s birthdays together.

On her upcoming concert, Linda expressed, “I have to start mentally preparing myself. My youngest daughter and my parents accompanied me back to Hong Kong. Later, my husband will fly over with my eldest daughter and son to join us. We’ll be able to celebrate Christmas as a family in Hong Kong this year. My husband is really looking forward to coming back to Hong Kong to visit family, as he has a lot of relatives residing in Hong Kong. We haven’t been back as a family in a long time. If we have time, we’d like to make a short vacation trip out of it also.”

Excited to meet and see her fans again, Linda said, “I’ll work very hard to perform a good show. It’s such a blessing to have three shows. I never thought it would happen and I feel so grateful. I hope to send positive energy through my three shows. I really love singing.”

On whether she has plans to return to filming, the 40-year-old former TVB actress replied, “I’m patiently waiting for a character and script that suits me and that I really like. I’m still passionate about acting, singing, and performing. I hope to make a comeback at the right time. This is my calling.”
