Louis Koo’s Company to Debut K-Pop Girl Group, SKYLE
Already an influential film producer, Louis Koo (古天樂) has now set his eyes on the South Korean entertainment industry. Establishing a talent company in South Korea earlier, he plans to debut a four-member girl group, SKYLE.
Ahead of the group’s debut in mid-July, SKYLE has set up their own social media page and teased the group’s unique logo. While details about the members are not yet publicly disclosed, it is reported that the members are from China and South Korea with an average age of 20 years old.
Many netizens have begun speculating the identities of the SKYLE members ,and narrowed down their guesses to two trainees who previously participated in China’s 2020 music survival program Youth with You <青春有你>, Eva Yao (姚依凡) and Jennifer Zhou (周梓倩).
Hailing from Yunnan, Eva graduated from Yunnan Academy of Art. She is multilingual and is fluent in Mandarin, Korean, and English.
Jennifer was born in Shanghai and is very active in the entertainment industry. The 22-year-old budding artiste also appeared in 2016 reality program Girls Fighting <加油!美少女> and debuted in Chinese girl group ACEMAX-RED. In 2017, Jennifer participated in South Korean reality program The Unit and auditioned for Stephen Chow’s (周星馳) film The Mermaid <美人鱼>.

why kpop and not cpop?
@m0m0 it’s obvious because cpop died long time ago… kpo p is where the money at and a shot to hit it big even though they’ll need lots of promotion since they ain’t from the BIG 3 agency of South Korea.
