Louisa Mak Delights Keith Shing’s Parents With Home Makeover

Tying the knot in March, Louisa Mak (麥明詩) and pilot Keith Shing (盛勁為) are extremely compatible. Fans praised Keith for his looks, manners, and charm over Louisa’s infamous ex-boyfriend, Joseph Lam (林作).  Louisa and Keith are also deeply appreciative of each other and frequently show acts of love.

Recently, Louisa took it upon herself to renovate her in-laws’ home. When Keith was growing up, the Shing’s 500 square-foot family home housed two adults and four children. In addition to typical family clutter, the paint and drywall also appeared run down and weary, while the ceiling has started to show signs of mold.

After a multi-week home renovation project, Keith shared pictures of the newly remodeled family home. With new paint, cabinets, and furniture, the cramped space immediately took on a more refreshed look and open feel. The lighter colored paint also made the home appear brighter and more modern. Seeing the comparison photos, netizens were quick to praise Louisa for not only her good taste, but for also being a good daughter-in-law and taking the initiative to improve her in-law’s living situation. Keith expressed, “I’ve lived in this home for nearly 30 years. This 500-square foot-home housed two adults and four kids. When I had to study, I would have to do it in bed. After a bit, I’d nod off and fall sleep. Now, everyone has already formed their own family. This home has seen its years and needed repairs. Thanks to my wife for single-handedly planning the project and shopping for renovation companies. After a mere few weeks, this home is all good again. The home looks more open, bright, and airy. They’ve even added a small playroom. They said it’s for grandchildren when they come over to play in the future. My parents said they are very happy with the changes. It makes me want to come home more often for dinner.”
