Luo Yunxi Gains Weight for “Follow Your Heart”

After pulling heartstrings in Till the End of the Moon <長月燼明>, Leo Luo Yunxi (羅雲熙) is preparing to film iQiyi’s Follow Your Heart <顏心記> with  Song Yi (宋軼). In the booting ceremony and latest posters, Yunxi looks very handsome in his historical costume.

Follow Your Heart tells a romantic mystery story following the proud chief constable Jiang Xinbai (Luo Yunxi) who suffers prosopalgia, a neuropathic disorder characterized by intense pain in the face. While secretly investigating the Wuxiang case, he encounters wandering doctor Yan Nanxing (Song Yi). Starting out at odds, Xinbai and Nanxing bicker endlessly but eventually work together to track down the clues.

Drawn to Yunxi’s healthy appearance at the booting ceremony, many fans were pleased to see him gain weight for his new role. In comparison to his gaunt visuals in Till the End of the Moon, the actor looks much better now.

Additionally, Yunxi was seen wearing stacked thick-soled shoes on the set of Follow Your Heart. Pulling a photo of him in Till the End of the Moon, they realized he was also wearing shoes that looked over 3.9 inches high. While his profile listed him as 5 feet 8 inches, netizens felt the information is inaccurate but feel his acting skills and dedication to his craft are more important.

In fact, Yunxi is not the only male actor who wears thick-soled shoes as many actors including Huang Xiaoming (黃曉明), Allen Ren Jialun (任嘉倫), and Joker Xue (薛之謙) were also seen doing the same to appear taller.
