Since dating Aaron Kwok (郭富城), model Lynn Hung’s (熊黛林) recognition levels soared, allowing her to be more selective in picking her work assignments and avoid bodily over-exposure. Since she needed the job to pay for living expenses, Lynn had no choice but to abide by the fashion show’s requirements.

When Gaile’s recognition levels soared after dating Leon, these photographs were circulated online. Leon took immediate action to stop the circulation of Gaile’s nude photos. Jayne: Nudity is so common is modeling. A model’s body is equally, if not more important, than one’s face. But after getting famous, everyone seem’s more prim about revealing full nudity.
I agree with you Jayne… the body of a model on the runway is part of the apparel. If the apparel requires nudity of some sort, that is the fashion and the appeal of the artist’s vision. Lynn has done nothing worthy of scorn.

Girls, especially the pretty or modelling type should learn young to be more disciplined and not to be too eager to reveal whatever they have too soon or else some time in their life they may regret it. It will be too late then for news and pictures (especially naughty ones) travel very fast these days.
Nude modelling is very common. The super models do it all the time. Girls modelling must understand their body is the instrument, not their brain or their honour. It only becomes a problem when they jump into acting, and such photos may cause embarassment. But in the end if you know who you were, that is a model, everything else doesn’t matter. It is a means to the end.

Nude modeling is common and when I first found out that nude portaits and photos were a form of art, I was shocked too. But that was when I was a lot younger. I feel that it isn’t a big deal anymore.
It’s expected of a model to be able to use their whole body to express a piece of clothing on the catwalk.
I mean these girls (and boys) run basically naked backstage to ensure they get into their next piece of clothing to make their next entrance.
It’s definitely not uncommon at all but I suspect it is traditional Chinese beliefs that once you become more famous you tend to want to hide the fact that you had to pose nude “back in the days” to not to be judged…

She’s a runway model, so it’s her job. It’s nothing really to be ashamed of, it’s just like how actors/actresses may have to go nude for some projects. Shouldn’t be viewed any differently. I guess because HK is still conservative with series for full nudity, but nudity on runway isn’t that unusual.
Besides, I don’t think “transparent” blouses are something shameful either. I like them. I think her attire was pretty ‘covered up’.. I would actually prefer that top with just a bra underneath haha but maybe that’s just me. I mean, if you can’t wear revealing/slightly revealing clothes when you are young and have the figure for it.. when else will you? When you are old and wrinkly?
