Mag Lam Spotted with New Boyfriend, Tyrese Au

After suffering from a roller-coaster ride with regards to her health, Mag Lam (林欣彤) found happiness and comfort in her relationship with BOP (天堂鳥) member Tyrese Au (欧乔锋). 

It was rumored that Mag had entered the relationship as a third party, as Tyrese was still dating actress Stitch Yu (余思霆) at that time, but all three parties have denied the accusations. Despite Stitch coming forward and denying breaking up with Tyrese because of Mag, the singer’s career suffered a big hit due to the negativity and criticism stemming from the public.

Aside from her dating life being under the microscope, Mag also suffered various health problems – including losing her voice last October. Because the doctor advised against putting strain on her vocal chords, Mag cancelled her December concert and took a small hiatus in order to recover.

Even though she wasn’t fully recovered in the beginning of 2019, Mag agreed to sing during the 2018 Jade Solid Gold Best Ten Music Awards Presentation <2018年度勁歌金曲頒獎典禮>. Regaining full health, Mag took part in good friend Alfred Hui’s (許廷鏗) concert last month as a special guest.

Staying by Mag’s side through this roller-coaster ride was Tyrese – who even took Mag back to his apartment frequently in order to take care of her. Just the other day, the pair was photographed shopping for groceries before quietly leaving the store separately to meet up at the movie theater.

When the media asked about their relationship, Tyrese expressed, “We’re only friends, we are not living together. We only went to the movies and got a drink before entering the theater. It’s really that simple.”
