Maggie Shiu Tries Not to Laugh at Bobby Au-yeung’s Suffering
Maggie Shiu’s (邵美琪) been having a good time filming TVB’s My Ages Apart <誇世代>, but only at the expense of her costar’s suffering.
A few hot afternoons ago, Maggie and My Ages Apart lead star Bobby Au-yeung (歐陽震華) were spotted in the streets of Central around six in the evening for some photography shooting. In the scene, Bobby carried a pregnant Maggie in his arms—princess style—as he ran down the street.
The scene was actually more complicated than it looked. Despite their professionalism—Bobby and Maggie completed it in only a few takes—Bobby was clearly struggling to hold Maggie up as he ran. Upon seeing Bobby’s struggling face, Maggie couldn’t help but to laugh.
Bobby then held onto Maggie’s body double and filmed the same scene. In the end, Bobby’s sweat had completely soaked through his shirt.
Hong Kong’s “happy fruit” showed no signs of grievance, however, after completing the difficult scenes. Bobby happily obliged, and even held the camera, when a few fans came up to him for a selfie.
My Ages Apart, produced by Joe Chan (陳維冠), also stars Moses Chan (陳豪), Kristal Tin (田蕊妮), Louis Cheung (張繼聰), Ali Lee (李佳芯), Elena Kong (江美儀), and David Chiang (姜大衛).

I miss the old serious Bobby Au Yeung, not the comedic one.
