Mandy Wong Spent the Night at Boyfriend’s Home

Although a former Miss Hong Kong contestant, Mandy has always been low profile, resulting in few scandalous reports about her personal life.  Last November, Mandy Wong (黄智雯) was spotted having a lunch date with the Deputy Director of Tse Sui Luen Jewellry, Anthony Jim (詹文天). Although Mandy denied dating Anthony, they were recently seen having a romantic candlelight dinner at a restaurant at The Peak. After the meal, the couple headed for Anthony’s apartment where they spent the night.

Romantic Dinner, Nightcap

Seated by a quiet corner at the restaurant, the couple appeared to have finished their meals as there were only two glasses of water left on the table. The two lovers apparently only had eyes for each other as they shared many hours chatting away, unaware of the reporters’ presence. Mandy was also very attentive when Anthony was talking.

Around 11 p.m., they finally left the restaurant separately to avoid suspicion. Unfortunately, Anthony seemed to have lost his way and could not find the parking lot. Mandy helped Anthony and side by side, they walked to his car. Mandy then got into Anthony’s Mercedes Benz and together, they headed straight for Happy Valley. At the junction, Anthony made a few laps before finally turning into Link Road where his apartment, Villa Rocha is located.

Afterward, Mandy once again denied that she is dating Anthony. She maintained that they are merely friends. “We are not [having a romantic dinner]! It was a very simple meal. I have been busy working and had no time to have meals with my friends. Furthermore, it’s been a long time since I went up to The Peak. Since he called me so we met for a meal.”

Mandy stressed that she has known Anthony for about 9 months but they are not at the dating stage. She revealed that she has the habit of asking her friends out whenever she is not filming. When asked if she would have candlelight dinners with other male friends, she laughed and said, “It’s not really a candlelight dinner. It was nighttime so the restaurant lit candles to light up the place. I will also go on one-to-one meals with other friends. When I have the time, I like to ask my friends out for meals and chats.”

Mandy further clarified that she had been working in the Hong Kong island area that day. As she did not know the way up to The Peak, she left her car at Anthony’s place. After dinner that night, she followed Anthony back to his place to get her car.

However, Mandy did not cross out the possibility that they may date in the future. “I need more time to know each other. This year, I have been filming back-to-back. If I have the time, I will understand the scripts first. Can’t understand a person after a meal or so.”
