Mat Yeung Shares Filming Experience in Colombia for “All Work 3”

Mat Yeung (楊明) and Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) recently traveled to the South American country of Colombia to film the third season of the TVB reality show All Work No Pay Holidays <打工捱世界>. There, the duo went down and dirty to do some blue collar work, such as washing toilets and even some mining work.

The Defected <鐵探> actor recalled his experience at a mine cave, saying, “Public safety in Colombia is okay. It took six hours by car to get the mining cave in Bogotá. We were lifted down 200 meters. There was gray dust everywhere. It was deep and dark and wet. It didn’t feel too dangerous, but there were a lot of bugs. After filming those scenes, I felt like I was bitten everywhere. A lot of the cast members had allergic reactions. We immediately had to contact a doctor. It was so itchy!”

Mat Yeung counted that he had over 20 bites on each arm and at least 10 on each leg and his back.

The experience was much more comfortable after arriving in the tourist district of Medellín. Both Mat and Benjamin had the opportunity to create their own graffiti, and climbed up the El Peñón de Guatapé, a monadrock that took over 700 steps to climb to the top.

“There’s a cafe on the top of the rock, and it’s a perfect spot for scenery. Everything is so beautiful. It was tiring, but worth it,” shared Mat.
