Michael Tong Spills Possible Reason Behind Attack on “The Biter Bitten” Cast
In an earlier episode of the variety talk show, Wanna Bros <娛樂3兄弟>, TVB actress Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) spilled a frightening encounter of being chased by several men carrying knives and blades while filming for The Biter Bitten <人生馬戲團> back in 2005. The incident occurred soon after the cast stepped out of a karaoke bar in Mainland China late one evening. Despite revealing details of what happened, Linda exclaimed she is uncertain why they were targeted. Michael Tong (唐文龍), who was also a victim that night, shared he may have information to offer.
Although Michael is reluctant in speaking about the scary event that happened a decade ago, he shared a possible reason behind the attack. Michael spilled, “Apparently, the karaoke bar had a discord with some clients over a bill. The clients were in rage and called an attack on the employees as the bar closed down for the night. They reportedly wanted to teach them a lesson. However, we ended up as their target!”
Michael admitted that he is unsure if that was the real reason behind the attack, but like Linda had said, the incident was extremely frightening and the cast had been under real danger. The gang chased them with scimitars, glass bottles, water buckets, and long blades. Amidst the chaos, the cast ran off in different directions. Michael shared that at the time, their martial arts instructor was injured while attempting to protect Linda and Shirley Yeung (楊思琦).
Fortunately, nobody was severely harmed that night, although Linda suffered from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Ever since the frightening incident, Michael expressed he would make sure to check his surroundings carefully each time he gets off work during the wee hours.
