Michelle Chen and Chen Xiao’s Divorce is Pending?

Michelle Chen (陳妍希) and her husband Chen Xiao (陳曉) met while filming The Return of the Condor Heroes <神鵰俠侶>. Marrying in 2016, the couple welcomed a baby boy. All seemed to be well until rumors of divorce started popping up in June of this year. There were many theories as to what led to the breakdown of Michelle and Chen Xiao’s marriage, but the pair never directly addressed the rumors.

Recently, a Chinese netizen disclosed on social media that the pair was already at the tail end of divorce proceedings. As Michelle and Chen Xiao are currently brand ambassadors, they were requested to postpone announcing their separation until after the Lunar New Year. Some netizens questioned the validity of the rumor as Michelle and Chen Xiao did not have any couple endorsements.

Michelle just finished filming for her new drama Sniper Butterfly <狙擊蝴蝶> and appeared at the airport yesterday. Her mother and her son Little Star came to pick her up. Wearing a white dress shirt with black pants, the 8-year-old boy was almost at her shoulder. It was a heartwarming sight as Michelle happily took off her mask and held his hand to leave.
