Michelle Wai Gets Married!

Hong Kong actress Michelle Wai (衛詩雅) and aesthetic doctor Kenley Chau (周祉安) got married at a church on February 16^th. The joyful event was attended by many friends from the entertainment industry including Emperor Group Chairman Albert Yeung (楊受成), Mani Fok (霍汶希), Gin Lee (李幸倪), Kenny Kwan (關智斌), Carlos Chan (陳家樂), Shiga Lin (連詩雅), and Jade Kwan (關心妍).

After the ceremony, the couple held their reception at the Shangri-La hotel where they had an opportunity take pictures and speak with the media. Under the media’s urging, the couple posed and kissed in front of the camera.

The couple shared that they were nervous but very happy. Michelle confessed that she was very emotional and cried when her father lifted her veil during the ceremony. Kenley also shared that he was moved to tears when he was reading the vows and that he practiced his lines many times before the wedding, “I think it was very important to my wife since it was very sincere promise.”

During the media’s interview, Kenley proved himself to be a doting husband and always prioritized Michelle first. When asked if he was getting a present for his wife, Kenley responded that he would need to seek his wife’s opinion first so he doesn’t buy the wrong item. When asked if he will be attending the Hong Kong Film Awards ceremony together, he replied that he would listen to his wife’s decision first.

Kenley was also asked if he will listen to everything Michelle says, he agreed that his wife is the boss and teased that he will be letting Michelle handle all of his earnings. When Michelle added in with excitement that Kenley will be giving her pocket money every month, Kenley agreed that the pocket money will only be enough for some food and car rides.
