“Modern Dynasty 2” Drops First Trailer

Following up on its successful predecessor, Modern Dynasty 2 <家族榮耀之繼承者> stars Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼), Raymond Lam (林峯), and Him Law (羅子溢). The cast has recently completed filming in Malaysia and has returned to Hong Kong where filming will continue.

The first trailer for Modern Dynasty 2 was dropped, and there were many exciting scenes including Gallen Lo (羅嘉良) beating up Hugo Ng (吳岱融); Raymond and Charmaine’s relationship scenes; and Him’s love triangle with Venus Wong (王敏奕) and Inez Leong (梁諾妍) where he is torn between pursuing love but also wanting fame and riches.

Rarely portraying villainous roles, Him felt it was a good opportunity to flex his acting skills. Asked about his intimate scenes featured in the trailer, Him said, “Relationship scenes are a staple of any drama. I had great chemistry with Venus and her performance was praised by the entire crew. This was Inez’ first drama so she was a little nervous, but I’m very close with her husband Tony Hung (洪永城) so we discussed everything first.”

The day before filming ended in Malaysia, the cast filmed a gala scene. Dressed in glamorous outfits, everyone took many pictures for memories. Him grew very close to Gallen after working together. The cast will rest for about a week before filming in Hong Kong starts.

Him was met at the airport by his wife Tavia Yeung (楊茜堯) and their children. His daughter immediately climbed into her father’s arms after not seeing him for several weeks.
