Moses Chan Not Nervous in Becoming a Father
Moses Chan (陳豪) appeared in Tsuen Wan’s Citywalk shopping mall to promote the mall’s panda awareness summer campaign on July 14. The father-to-be insisted on maintaining his privacy and expressed that he did not wish to elaborate too much on his personal matters. However, after much prying from the press, Moses finally revealed that he would be flying to Canada on Sunday to prepare for his Toronto wedding banquet with pregnant wife Aimee Chan (陳茵媺).
“It’s almost time to leave, but I wish to maintain a low profile for my private life.”
Moses refused to elaborate on what kind of wedding banquet that he and Aimee are planning to hold. Asked if he and Aimee would hold a tea ceremony – a key ritual in traditional Chinese weddings – Moses said, “Both Aimee and I are traditional people. We will do what must be done.”
The couple will invite close family members to the Toronto wedding. They also plan to hold an intimate dinner with friends in Hong Kong soon. On when Aimee plans to return to Hong Kong, Moses answered, “She will come back later. We haven’t decided on where she should have the baby, but we still have time to think about it.” Moses also added that Aimee is in great health and thanked the press for their concerns.
Soon to be a father, is Moses nervous? “Can’t say I am yet, but recently I’ve been very curious about how it’s like to be a father. I don’t know that feeling, and I really want to experience it.”

Being a father is not nerve-racking but juggling parental duties, keeping his wife happy and working in his demanding occupation in the entertainment field with be stressful unless he retires. Being an owner of a coffee business will be stressful as well.
Aptos,
Which is why Moses will choose “quality” projects that pay him better for the time involved. I suspect Moses and Aimee’s presence in TVB will dwindle in time due to their new baby.
Although Aimee has said she hopes to continue to act, she already took off 6 months while pregnant. She will likely take at least another 6 months off after baby is born to take care of the little one.
Moses will likely film in mainland to earn more money and eventually plan exit from industry as he focuses more on business developments. Maybe he can even help Aimee’s family manage their restaurant business.
Why do you think being a father is not nerve-racking?? My 3rd brother is father of 3, works and always has hands full because he is way more hands on than his wife.
Unless Moses Chan is successful in starting and running his own business, I don’t think he will quit acting soon. Perhaps Aimee Chan will only act on a part-time basis and not full-time.
