Moses Chan, Sisley Choi at “Trendsetter” Costume Fitting
Starring as a fashion magazine editor in Trendsetter <潮流教主>, Moses Chan (陳豪) appeared with a stylish new haircut at the costume fitting event. The TVB series features a refreshing young cast consisting of Him Law (羅仲謙), Sisley Choi (蔡思貝), Ali Lee (李佳芯), Leanne Li (李亞男), Whitney Hui (許亦妮), and Veronica Shiu (邵珮詩). As the drama focuses on the fashion industry, the wardrobe budget is double the normal amount.
Portraying Sisley’s mentor in the series, Moses said, “I will not have a love relationship in the series. This responsibility will fall on the younger artistes.” He looks forward to generating new sparks with the cast, since he will be working with the majority of artistes for the first time.
Sisley will portray a vendor selling counterfeit designer goods on Temple Street. Working with Him Law again after Young Charioteers <衝線>, Sisley is unafraid of generating romantic rumors together. Sisley said, “I don’t want any negative gossip. I only want to focus on work.”
Although it was alleged that Him’s rumors with Sisley had angered his girlfriend Tavia Yeung (楊怡) earlier, Him said that it is not necessary to report his actions to Tavia. While he portrays a male model in the series, Him said he does not need to intentionally work out for the role. “It’s okay as long as I don’t gain additional weight. Models don’t necessarily have to take off their clothes.”
Ali Lee will also have a significant role in Trendsetter. Unafraid of others’ jealousy, Ali said, “I’ve filmed a lot of dramas since joining TVB three years ago. My efforts have not been wasted.”

Argh…I can’t believe that The Election’s scriptwriter Benny Wong returned to TVB for this series…it doesn’t sound interesting at all and with a cast consisting of newbies, highly doubt the acting will be any good. What a waste of talent!
P.S. With Benny back at TVB, I guess this dashes all hopes of The Election season 2….. 🙁
It’s definitely an interesting cast, and it’s good to see some of the ‘Come Home Love’ actors and actress’ getting other acting opportunities to exercise their acting abilities besides being restricted in a sitcom.
Also, here’s to hoping Sisley’s acting won’t be as bad as it was in Young Charioteers *fingers crossed*
