Mother of “Empresses in the Palace” Actress Dies from Car Crash

Empresses in the Palace <后宫·甄嬛传> actress Seven Tan Songyun (譚松韻) shot to fame soon after starring as Consort Chun in the 2011 hit palace drama, but not long after wishing everyone a happy new year, she disappeared from social media. Today, it was revealed that her mother had died from a car crash.

On December 21, 2018 at approximately 11 p.m., a 55-year-old woman suffered severe injuries after getting hit by a hit-and-run drunk driver in Sichuan, China. Seven has said in an interview that she is most thankful to her parents, as they carried huge economic burdens to support her education.
