Myolie Wu and Elaine Yiu Only Have One Scene Together In “Every Step You Take”

The cast of TVB’s drama Every Step You Take <陪著你走> gathered together yesterday to promote the upcoming series, which will be premiering in Hong Kong on August 31. The 20-episode drama stars Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) as a blind woman, with Moses Chan (陳豪), Evergreen Mak (麥長青), and Elaine Yiu (姚子羚) costarring.

The cast of yesterday’s promotional event took some photos together with a guide dog, who play an important role in the story. Elaine, a dog lover, sighed that she did not have the chance to work with dogs in the series. She also only had one scene with Myolie, her close friend.

“Originally we didn’t even have scenes together, but the producer said that since it’s rare of us to be in a drama together, he wrote an additional scene just for us,” shared Elaine.

As Myolie has decided to not renew her TVB contract, Elaine was asked if it would be even harder for them to collaborate in the future. She said, “You would have to ask her about that. But it’s okay. We always see each other.” Elaine added that her, Myolie, and their group of friends are planning to go on a trip together. “Due to our different schedules, it is really difficult for all of us to get together for a trip. We’re trying our best to find time, even if the trip is only for a day.”

Lead actor Moses Chan was absent at the promotion event. The staff said that he was supposed to attend, but was stuck in traffic. Myolie defended Moses, expressing that he is rarely late to work. “There was probably a traffic accident,” she said.
