Ever since Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) broke up with Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) last July, she has been busying herself with work and focused her efforts on making more money rather than her own love life. Myolie was already known for her hard work ethics but post-breakup, she became an intense workaholic, earning over $33 million HKD in the last year. I disagree. Bosco is pretty sharp when it comes to investments. He is fairly wealthy for a TVB actor with diversified investments, several properties, cars, etc. I think he is holding his own very well as compared to his fellow colleagues; no need to depend on others for money.

Totally agree with the above comment. I did not like Bosco in the past, but I begin to enjoy his acting. His acting is getting better and better, and very versatile. I don’t like him acting silly roles, such as “The in-laws”, but he acts well in many different types of roles.
On the other hand, I don’t think Myolie acts well. Totally agree that she won the Best Actress award in her worst role “Curse of the Royal Harem”. It would be more acceptable if she got her TV Queen title in “Ghetto Justice”, but surely not in “Curse of the Royal Harem.
I said I like her as a person. She does prove to be a sincere and co-operative actress and is willing to accept the “invisible rules” in acting, e.g. she had her hair cut really short in acting Summer in “TITS 2”. She looked fairly ugly in many scenes, but she was willing to do it in order to be professional. However, her acting is unfortunately not good; therefore, I don’t like her as an actress.

Whether Myolie Wu dumped Bosco Wong or not for financial reasons besides Bosco’s disloyalty …… it is her own business. As an audience, I don’t care about it. It does not affect me in my opinion about her as a person. As an audience, I just want her to be a professional actress, polite, good mannered, co-operative with other artistes, less rumours and more focus in work. Moreover, Myolie seems to talk very nicely of other artistes. She never spreads any gossips or bad-mouths other artistes.

I have always thought that both Bosco and Myolie are on par financially. Myolie does more functions and series while Bosco had more investment in restaurants,properties and red wines.
And I certainly DO NOT think that Myolie dumped Bosco’s because of money. Bosco is an invisible rich man himself and he splurged quite a number of luxuries goods on Myolie when they were dating. Besides that, he even present Myolie with an apartment under her name and paying 6 figure sum for the down payment of her current red hot mercedes slk 350(and I don’t know why she is still keeping the car till now even after the breakup,if I was her I would sell it off and get a new one)! Correction,apparently the apartment Bosco gave to Myolie wasn’t just a rumor and it was indeed a fact. If you have listen to the radio interview of Bosco and Cha siu yan announcing their breakup. Siu yan che mentioned that Bosco bought an apartment for Myolie and he admitted to it.
Funny how Bosco and Myolie were dating they denied almost everything the reporters wrote and it turns out almost half the story was true. The best example would definitely be their relationship. They had been denying it since god knows when and finally come clean after 7 years of dating!

However, for the apartment case is a fact because he admitted on national radio that he bought an apartment under Myolie’s name regardless whether she had accepted it or not.
