Nancy Wu Befriends Rosina Lam to Meet Rich Guys?
After breaking up with entrepreneur Patt Shum (沈柏淳) last November, Nancy Wu (胡定欣) moved on rather quickly and started to date music producer Terry Chan (陳明道) through the help of close friend, Paisley Wu (胡蓓蔚). However, reports speculate that Nancy is not fully satisfied and hopes to find a richer man. Since Rosina Lam (林夏薇) earlier tied the knot with prosperous CEO boyfriend, Nancy allegedly befriended her in order to be included in their rich social circle.
While filming Short End of the Stick <公公出宮> with Rosina, Nancy reportedly took the chance to become close friends with her. In the past, Nancy was said to have always appeared cool towards others and was only close with those who are a part of her best friends group, including Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), Elaine Yiu (姚子羚), Selena Li (李施嬅), Mandy Wong (黃智雯), and Paisley. However, she allegedly appeared extremely friendly towards Rosina, and the two soon became great friends.
An insider spilled, “Nancy saw that Rosina became a rich woman, since she carried a Hermès bag to work. She took the initiative to befriend her, and would chat with her whenever she didn’t have to film. When the cast headed to Kaiping to shoot outdoors scenes, Nancy stuck to Rosina like old buddies. However, she didn’t have much to say to her other costars such as Grace Wong (王君馨), Natalie Tong (唐詩詠), or Yoyo Chen (陳自瑤).”
The insider added that Nancy’s move proved to be the best of both worlds, since she could be on the lookout for rich men while keeping her relationship with Terry unaffected. “At first, Nancy thought Terry would be a stable man since he previously divorced. But then she realized he’s a heavy partier, and she’s not that type of girl. Terry is also like a child who needs to be taken care of, so Nancy’s friends are not too optimistic about their relationship either.”

Been a fan of Nancy’s beauty and acting for years. If this article is indeed true, I’ve lost alot of respect for her.
Not surprised. That’s how alot of people do it in life. They will suck up to the rich and powerful and be mean to the commoners.
It’s good to search for a better beau, if current one is not young but still love to party. It is compatible if Nancy love parties too, but its not the case here. It is also normal to befriend someone who you has a good impression of. Doesnt matter if that person is rich or poor.

It feels like the writer is showing groundless opinions. Sure, she often stays within her circle of friends, but that doesn’t mean befriending Rosina means anything. I mean if it were some other girl, the article would not have been made because there’s nothing to gossip about.
The overall articles on Nancy tend to be so hurtful towards her reputation always giving a negative image on how she’s a “港女” or the multiple boys she’s had. Throughout her career, although she has acted many roles as part of the evil side, that doesn’t mean she really is like that in reality.
Her circle of friends are talented actresses and they rarely have gossip about them, suggesting that they are nice and friendly girls. Well, isn’t that ironic? If they are so kind, why would they be such close friends with the selfish materialistic Nancy?
What a terrible article. First of all selena was never part of their circle of close friends until recently. If nancy didn’t befriend her then how did selena get so close with the group? And its total bs on how theyre saying she’s using rosina just because she has her own group of friends doesn’t mean shes not allowed to make new ones and it doesnt mean shes using rosina.
