Nancy Wu Celebrates 43rd Birthday with Fans

Turning 43 years old in September, Nancy Wu (胡定欣) held an early birthday celebration with fans  to accommodate the school schedule of younger fans. With attendees from Hong Kong, Macau, China, and Singapore, Nancy’s fan club birthday celebration had over 120 guests. In addition to taking photos, Nancy also sang and played games to interact with fans.

Nancy expressed it felt like gathering with family during these celebrations. Many fans have supported her since they were young children and have celebrated her birthday with her for over ten years.

“In the cards I’ve received the past few years, the words that have come up the most are ‘DSE’! When you guys feel like giving up or are feeling down, thank you for thinking of me and my work ethics, every encouraging word I’ve shared, and every moment we’ve experienced together. I just want to say that I think you all are doing very well. It’s truly my greatest blessing to be your emotional pillar of support. I’ve always felt like it was you all who give me strength. I’m touched listening to everything you have shared with me and I couldn’t help but tear up. This type of influence is more than I could have imagined!”

The theme for Nancy’s birthday celebration was Inside Out 2. On which emotion is most similar to her own personality, she expressed, “I think I become a different character depending on the situation. I enjoy gathering with friends. When there are too many people and I am in an unfamiliar place, Anxiety would appear during situations where I cannot relax and be myself. I’m learning how to slowly change and improve on this. I’m trying not to let Anxiety be on the panel long-term and let Joy handle things more often!”
