Nancy Wu Dates Compassionate Doctor

Nancy Wu (胡定欣), 43, has been single for nine years since her breakup with musician Terry Chan (陳明道) in 2016. She finally found love again with the help of matchmakers Bob Lam (林盛斌) and Tony Hong (洪永城).

Nancy is currently in a passionate relationship with a new boyfriend Dr. Akin Chan. During the Lantern Festival, Nancy shared a photo of them snowboarding. It turns out Akin has quite an impressive background and is very charitable, having worked with Doctors Without Borders.

The couple does not shy away from dating in public places and was sighted at shopping malls, eating dinner outside, and watching movies. Although they were not seen publicly holding hands, they were often seen speaking intimately and laughing a lot together.

When Nancy initially admitted to dating, rumors circulated her boyfriend was a young cosmetic doctor, but in fact, Akin was a surgeon. He graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a degree in both internal and surgical medicine and from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom. Since 2012, Akin has been a member of Doctors Without Borders, and has been on missions nearly every year except for the pandemic. He visited Pakistan and South Sudan for rescue work. Previously, he worked in public hospitals, where he used his annual leave to participate in missions and took unpaid leave afterward.
