New Romance for Fala Chen?
After leaving TVB and splitting with Neway Star executive Daniel Sit (薛世恆) in 2013, Fala Chen (陳法拉) flew to New York for the four-year Master of Fine Arts in Drama program at the Juilliard School. The 34-year-old was accepted into the prestigious drama school in September 2014, and is expected to graduate by the summer of 2018.
Now on summer break, Fala has returned to Hong Kong to rehearse for her drama project with Dayo Wong (黃子華). The play Skylight <前度>, an adaptation of the 1995 English play of the same name, will be playing for 18 shows at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts starting July 1.
Last Saturday, the paparazzi spotted Fala out in the streets of Wan Chai with a mysterious man. The man, who is of European descent and resembles English actor Ben Whishaw, looked to be around Fala’s age. To not get recognized in the streets, Fala wore a facemask and stayed alert.
They walked towards the direction of Causeway Bay and stopped by an ATM to withdraw some money. After completing their errand, Fala spotted the paparazzi and immediately whispered a few words to her friend. She then boarded a taxi and left for her home on Conduit Road, Mid-Levels. Her friend, on the other hand, boarded another taxi for the Grand Hyatt hotel, which was where he was staying. He left Hong Kong the next afternoon.

it really sucks to be a celebrity. can’t even bid farewell like a normal person. if the paparazzi catches you do anything human, you got to stop immediately. i can see why celebrity relationships is difficult now.
@m0m0 even a simple peck on the cheek will be blown out of proportion by the reporters. sucks to be a celebrity esp in HK.
@m0m0 Yep agree.. suck to be a celebrity in HK.. too many of these reporters that will write anything for sales… Know it’s their job but sometime they do go over the line..
Why do the media get so creative when they write about peoples private lives. Its up to them who they date, see or marry whatever nationality. In this day and age, no matter how reserved the Hong Kong population is, we have to accept that there will be more and more mixed relationships and marriages its been happening around the world and its no big deal. Also is it better we only marry or date our own nationality, or is better we find happiness with our better halves for what they are no matter what, even if they are not chinese.
