New South Korean Drama, “Remarriage and Desires,” to Air on Netflix

Starring Kim Hee Sun, Lee Hyun Wook, Jung Yoo Jin, and Park Hoon, the upcoming Korean series Remarriage and Desires will be premiering on Netflix on July 15.

Kim Hee Sun portrays a divorcee who plots revenge against her ex-husband’s scheming mistress by employing services from an exclusive matchmaking agency. The matchmaking agency caters to the rich upper-class society and helps their clients maintain their status at the top of the financial hierarchy through marriage or remarriage to wealthy men. Underneath the glitz and glamour of each character lies hidden desires and ambitions.

In one of the scenes shown in the trailer, Jung Yoo Jin is shown shaking hands with Lee Hyun Wook and stating, “I want to build the most perfect family with the most perfect man.” Handing an envelope to Lee Hyun Wook and making no secret of her plans and ambitions, she added, “Fund me. I will give a higher return.”

Similarly themed Korean dramas about marriages and the elite have been well received among Netflix viewers. With its beautiful cast, lavish fashion, and sleek, high-quality filming, Remarriage and Desires may be the next big hit on the streaming giant.
