Newlyweds Kevin Cheng and Grace Chan Return to Hong Kong

Newlyweds Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) and Grace Chan (陳凱琳) have returned to Hong Kong after tying the knot in Bali last week. When reporters spotted the couple heading out of the airport hand-in-hand, they immediately teased Grace and greeted her as Mrs. Cheng. Upon hearing the title, Grace smiled sweetly but admitted that she is still not used to it yet.

In response to the rumors the couple is expecting, Kevin said, “We will tell everyone when there is good news, but there is no news yet! We’ll take it slow. There’s plenty of time.” With Kevin already 49 years old, has his mother been pressuring them to start a family soon? Grace said, “No. She was very happy at our wedding. We understand that things need to be done one step at a time. We’ll let nature take its course.”

During the wedding, both Kevin and Grace were moved to tears as they said their vows. When Kevin went to pick up his bride, he sang the song, “One Thousand Wishes” <一千個願意>. Kevin recalled, “This song is one that I practice singing often. She heard it once and said she really liked it and wanted me to sing it to her. After I sang it, I successfully earned myself a wife!”

After the wedding, the couple stayed a few extra days in Bali to celebrate Kevin’s birthday. When Grace was asked whether she prepared any surprises for her husband, Kevin jumped in and responded, “No need for surprises! I already have the best gift!”

Does the couple have plans to host a wedding celebration in Hong Kong also? Kevin said, “I don’t think so! We wanted a simple wedding, and we got the blessings from both families. It was very complete and fulfilling.”
