Nicholas Tse’s New Luxury Apartment Exposed
Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒) was rumored to be dating actress Zhou Xun (周迅) when the latter was caught leaving Pacific Place, the apartment building that Nicholas has called home for the past two years. Nicholas’s manager Mani Fok (霍汶希) denied the rumors, and more recent reports suggest that Nicholas may have already made plans to move out prior to the dating claims.
Since his divorce from Cecilia Cheung (張栢芝), Nicholas has been very focused on his acting career and post-production company. He also spent much of his free time with their two children, Lucas (謝振軒) and Quintus (謝振南), maintaining a good work-life balance. To stay close with his sons, Nicholas moved into serviced apartment Parkside at Pacific Place, a commercial and residential complex located in Admiralty. For the past two years, he lived in a 1,260 square feet single unit and enjoyed the apartment’s housekeeping services and tight security.
Nicholas has always made his children a top priority. He reportedly had a long discussion with Cecilia over their sons’ upbringing, worried that their frequent outings may have a negative effect on their education. After much thought, Nicholas agreed to have Cecilia raise Lucas and Quintus in Vancouver, away from the public eye. Some claimed that Nicholas had already purchased property in Canada at the end of last year in preparation of this move.
Now that Cecilia and his sons have settled in Vancouver, Nicholas can finally spend time on himself. On July 30, Nicholas was seen driving to a luxury apartment building in Hong Kong Island’s Mid-Levels area after attending an event. He remained inside for about an hour, then headed out to film Casino <賭城風雲>, Wong Jing (王晶)’s 2014 lunar new year film which also stars Chow Yun Fat (周潤發). After completing the day’s schedule, Nicholas returned once again to Mid-Levels and remained there for the rest of the night.
The 32-year-old has apparently been shopping for a new home for quite some time, and has committed himself to a 3,300 square feet luxury unit on Bowen Road, renting it for $165,000 HKD a month. Nicholas delayed his move-in to allow for renovations, increasing its kitchen space and adding high-tech kitchen appliances. He also decorated two large spare rooms, reserved for his two sons so that they will always have a home in Hong Kong when they return for visits.

Isn’t the latest rumour about Nicholas Tse dating Zhou Xun?
Paying HKD165,000 a month on rent for his 3,300 sq. ft. luxurious unit may be equal to a household’s income for a whole year. No wonder everyone wants to be a movie star in Hong Kong because only movie stars can afford that kind of luxurious living standards.
EEG artists are some of the richest in Asia. Top earners in EEG are Nicholas, Charlene, Joey, Raymond, and Leo. Nicholas definitely earns more than Raymond and Leo because he is practically a superstar now. Between Charlene and Joey, it’s hard to tell which of the two earns more. I read Charlene has 5 properties and Joey has some properties too. EEG does worked their artists a lot but at least they’re getting a fair amount of salary vs TVB. Once you become famous in HK, your entry to China isn’t too difficult; it’s no wonder why so many people want to become an artist there. China loves HK artists; Nicholas, Charlene, and Raymond are treated like god there. I’ve been to Xtep concert in Changsha which feature Jolin, Nicholas, Charlene, and Wilmer; the people loves Nicholas and adores Charlene like crazy. Even many elderly went to the concert to get a glimpse of Charlene and Nicholas.
Yea, I have seen quite a few series starring Nicholas from China and can tell that he gets treated well. He always plays the lead and I bet he gets paid big bucks.
Not only in china, nic, twins & raymond are very popular in south east asia like singapore ,malaysia, brunei, thailand. They are treated like god status
Not just in HK but in China as well. Everyone thinks being in the circle is easy money, but sadly that is not always the case. But if you do make it big then you can earn big bucks and live the high life. No wonder my mom says that celebs in China and HK are growing like mushrooms.
where are the photos?
Click the source, it has a pic of the outside of the building.
nothing much to see, hope oriental daily can get pics of his apartment’s interior next time
Nic definitely has better PR workign for him than Cecilia.
Heseems pretty good at keeping up image, and ‘acting’. I don’t see him as a hands-on or concerned dad in any way yet he’s always hyped as some super-dad.
Why are most articles out geared towards how much of a wonder-dad he is?
Nic is hardly the calibre of concerned and involved dad, and nowhere the family-man Jackie Cheung or Sunny Chan (and son with autism) is.
With the kids now out of the picture, even better for his single lifestyle and dating freedom.
Nic seems more a selective dad type … who chooses to to look involved occasionally. And of course the press always knows about it when he’s acting his dad role.
He wants to be part of the decision making yes (again LOOKS like good dad) = but in a way that always seems to be some power trip. Ceciia will never have total freedom to do as she likes.
“He finally has time for himself?”?!
How’s that even related to the kids?
If he’s that busy – then it’s his own issues, since he’s not the 24/7 primary parent in the picture.
And he’s reaping HIS own rewards for all that time he’s busy.
IF a person has time to attend rock concerts alone, and find time to date = he’s not really that busy.
Nic’s hardly the type of hands-on dad who would arrange his busy to accomodate his family needs first, or go pick up the kids from school the very moment he has some time. The same way Jackie Cheung plans his life, revolving first around his family needs always.
Pretty amazing a while back that netizens even questioned why/how Cecilia can yank the kids at will to live in Canada. Really, how ignorant. Unless she has sole custody, WITHOUT his consent and uprooting just like that = it’s called kidnap.
Now that the coast is clear for him to be a carefree single in HK, all the better. On HIS time, he can choose to look like the good dad, and for sure somehow the reporters will catch wind of his Canadian visits to record it.
Sounds good, he purchased Cdn property ahead of time for their move.
However, IF Nic has the financial fluidity for HK $165K; surely he also has the ability to finance a better locality than Surrey for his kids (far out, higher crime rates and cheap real estate compared to the rest of Van).
The facts just don’t tally, no matter how good a show he puts up.
Good observation…
