Nicky Wu Will Let Cecilia Liu Decide on Time to Get Married
Since admitting to their relationship back in November 2013, Nicky Wu (吳奇隆) and Cecilia Liu (劉詩詩) remain deeply in love. Recent reports claimed it was possible Nicky had already proposed to his girlfriend with a ring, and the day of their marriage will perhaps take place this year. Nicky announced he would be sure to inform the public if any joyous event is coming along.
At an earlier promotional function, Cecilia revealed she has always wanted to be married one day, adding to marriage speculations with Nicky. When Nicky’s manager Ren Yue (任玥) was later questioned about the alleged proposal ring, she denied and exclaimed Nicky had promised the first thing he would do is inform everyone of good news when it happens.
At an earlier ceremony, Nicky stood beside his wax figure and posed around playfully. Asked if he wishes to stand beside Cecilia while she is in a wedding dress, he will respect his girlfriend’s decision on when is the right timing. At the end of April, Nicky will be busying himself with a new series.
On the other hand, Cecilia will begin shooting for new historical drama, The Legend of Physician Ming Fei <女醫明妃傳>, next week. She portrays a Chinese version of Dae Jang Geum, the classic first female royal physician in Korea’s Joseon Dynasty. The new drama takes place in China’s Ming Dynasty, where women of low-class families were forbidden from becoming physicians.
The plot revolves around Cecilia’s character who combats much hardship and turmoil as she is entangled in the schemes within the inner palace. Eventually, she rises to become the first royal female physician in the difficult society, similar to Lee Young Ae’s (李英愛) character in Dae Jang Geum <大長今>. The male lead of the series is confirmed to be Taiwanese actor, Wallace Huo (霍建華).

While they still have time before new shooting begins, they should take hold of this free period to plan.
Why not plan now (I’m sure it’s been discussed) and tie the knot by the time shooting ends!! It’s a good year to get married and have babe next. NW is not getting any younger.
I’m alway happy to read news about Nicky and Cecilia. They are really a happy gorgeous pair. Nicky is always a gentleman and I wasn’t surprise if he wants Cecilia to make the call whenever she is ready. Base on this news, they are both ready and might have the planing going on quietly though. best of luck for this happy pair

That series with her and Wallace sounds interesting, but I really hope it is more exciting than the Dae Jang Gum series. I thought the Korean version was really boring.
