Nicky Wu Learns How to Catch Fish for Survival Show “Law of the Jungle”
Taiwanese actor-singer Nicky Wu (吴奇隆) pulled himself out of civilization to join the Chinese edition of Law of the Jungle <我们的法则>, a reality documentary series that follows a cast of celebrities to a distant, less-civilized land, where they are to learn how to survive on their own and interact with the locals. The show is adapted from the Korean reality TV show of the same name, produced by the South Korean network SBS.
The first season, which premieres on Anhui TV on June 11, follows main cast members Nicky Wu, Li Yapeng (李亚鹏), Xiaoshenyang (小沈阳), Huang Zitao (黄子韬), Sun Yizhou (孙艺洲), Xing Aowei (邢傲伟), and Lynn Hung (熊黛林) to remote areas in Vanuatu, an island nation in the South Pacific Ocean. The cast stayed in Vanuatu for three weeks, and were not allowed to bring mobile phones, preserved foods, or lighters with them to the jungle. Instead, they were encouraged to use to the environment to make their own food.
The success of the original SBS show—which is on its fourth season—has put the Chinese version of Law of the Jungle as one of the most highly-anticipated variety shows for the month. A shirtless picture of Nicky—who was tasked to catch fish—went viral on social media. Many netizens exclaimed that the 45-year-old still looked as sharp and fit as his boy band days with the Little Tigers.

For goodness’ sake, can’t they come up with something original? These are all Korean remakes!
What do u expect from the Chinese side? Copy and paste is their strong point. And they are doing it well. At least this one is legally done. Lol
@dramadrama
once upon a thousand years ago, Korea and Japan copied China.
@msxie0714 And your point is……?
No, they all copied from America.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Survivor_(U.S._TV_series)
-> Survivor America started in year 2000.
It is still ongoing.
-> Korea started in year 2011.
About 11 years later. Samsung and Apple.
And I suppose no one remembered perhaps koreans copied from Americans who copied from…
Anyway plus point is perhaps loads of half nudity? No?
I am waiting for my 3 Meals A Day. I am just supremely happy Chajumma is coming back to nag everyone.
How can such a simple show of cooking 3 meals a day so very very entertaining? I can watch them without subs, and with subs even funnier. Best reality show ever.
I don’t mind the copying as long as the people on the show is good. Running Man China is just blah because Angelababy suck.. and some of the guys suck…WCL is funny on it but the rest is just blah…
Nicky looks good!
