Niki Chow Meets A Strange Passenger On Plane; Got Snapped While Sound Asleep
Yesterday, while flying back to Hong Kong from an event at Shanghai, Niki Chow’s (周麗淇) photo suddenly got snapped by a strange passenger from a foreign nationality while fast asleep. This made Niki so startled that she went pale in the face and was even worried that the unsightly photo of her being sound asleep would be exposed through the web. Niki self-exposed that while en-route from Shanghai to Hong Kong, she met a strange passenger while on the flight, “As soon as I boarded the plane, the foreign nationality passenger who was sitting across me asked me in both English and Chinese whether I was Niki Chow and even asked me whether I played the shares market. Afterwhich, I fell soundly asleep but all of a sudden, I heard this clicking sound and woke up to find that he had bent down and was standing in front of me. It was really maddening and startling for me at that point in time.”
Airline Company Kept A Record of Incident
Niki expressed that she did not know the intention of the other party and was afraid that the unsightly photo of her sleeping soundly would be exposed. After that incident, Niki had no choice but to complain to the air stewardess and to rely on her colleague to keep a closer eye on the Internet to prevent the photo from spreading all over the web.
Niki explained, “The air stewardess said that she saw that man taking photos of me throughout the flight but because she saw us talking to each other earlier on, she assumed that we already knew each other and hence she did not stop him from doing so.” Niki expressed, “The airline company promised that they will keep a record of the details involved so that it will facilitate me, should I decide to lodge a police report in the future.”
Niki honestly said that she understands that there isn’t any law which prevents others from snapping photos in a public area however she felt that the other party was seriously lacking respect for her, “There was no chance that I could prevent it, unless I even bought the seat across or sit a private jet.”
Hanjin Tan Will Be Collaborating With Joyce Tang
In other news, to commemorate his 10 years into the industry, Hanjin will be releasing a brand new album this month, “Next February will mark my tenth year into the industry. The upcoming album’s song will emote about my joy, anger, sorrow and happiness (喜怒哀樂) and how they come together or alternate between one another.”
Hanjin will even be making his way into TVBNOW and taking on a new TVB drama. Hanjin revealed that he will be acting as a couple with Joyce Tang (滕麗名) and laughed that he was afraid he would be beaten up if there were any intimate scenes required in the drama. Hanjin’s co-stars for that drama would also include Kiki Sheung (商天娥) and Eddie Cheung (張兆輝).

Ah K: Understand where Niki Chow is coming from as although I’m obviously not a celebrity, I will feel as angry too if some stranger took photos of me drooling away happily, especially without my knowledge!

I think the foreigner knew she was since he could even asked her in both English and Chinese whether she was Niki Chow and I agree that it was very disrespectful, it would have been better if Niki had complained to the air stewardness straight away and requested (soft approach) or demanded (hard approach) that he deleted the photos on the spot. But I doubt Niki was able to do so since she was probably scared out of her wits to stay calm and think and besides, Niki doesn’t strike me as a daring or bold person or rather she seems more like those kind that will keep quiet and suffer in silence.

I wanted to point out that Niki Chow is looking a lot like her sister, Kathy lately. Niki seems to have put on extra weight or is it some derma filler injections, thus plumping up her face, softening the facial contours and making her look more feminine.
Niki and Kathy are beautiful sisters, although some question whether their beauty is entirely natural.
Every time I see an actress’ face plump up, with thicker skin density, I wonder if it were botox injections? Their body shapes look the same so no weight gain. Ella Koon and Niki’s face plumped up mysteriously. Even Natalie Tong’s face looked unnaturally swollen in “The Other Truth.”
Their weight gain only make the face look stiffer and plumper but the body stays thin ROFL I know some ppl who have chubby face but thin body, but these celebs faces aren’t naturally chubby but just look like stuffed up ROFL 😛

I wonder how much TVB pay to invite him back. Or is he signing an artist contract with TVB? What he agreed to film is a sitcom not a 20 episode drama.
I really miss seeing him in TVB dramas. The last drama he did with Lawrence really left an impression on me and I really loved his chemistry with Joyce Tang. He looked so cool and really overshadowed Lawrence imho. Now, he’s aged alot. Still really like him though 😛
