No More Babies for Aimee Chan: “Let’s Stop At Three”
Actress Aimee Chan (陳茵微) attended a public event wearing a bright red tube dress earlier this week. The 34-year-old is currently six-months pregnant with her third child with husband and fellow actor Moses Chan (陳豪).
“I have no idea if it’s going to be a boy or a girl,” Aimee shared. “We’ll be able to know next week. It likes to hide from us,” she said with a smile.
As Aimee already has two boys, does her third pregnancy feel different? “It’s just as difficult! To be honest, I focused more of my energy on my first and second. Now that I’m in my third [pregnancy], I felt that time has passed by much quicker.” Aimee said she is due in May, and like her two sons, she will delivery naturally.
Having three babies in three years is definitely not an easy feat, but Aimee has come to appreciate what it means to have children close in age. “My two sons play together. They like to make each other laugh. Although they’re still talking in baby gibberish, it makes me so happy to see them get along like that. It’s all worth it.”
Do her sons want a younger brother or younger sister? “They’re still too young to understand that. I’m looking forward to the third one. It’s going to be busy. Let’s stop at three. I still want to work.” Is Aimee announcing that she will no longer be having more kids? “At the moment, yes. It’s tiring.”

Tsk tsk….high heels and a long dress! Omg Moses sure works her hard. Isn’t it painful to resume their couple activity so soon after a delivery especially after a natural one?

As much as I dislike her acting, she sure knows how to organize her life. It’s better, imo, to have kids closer to age so they can grow up together. Congratz to the Chan.
Those shoes though… dang… I would be scared crapless. It’s unnecessary “danger” even if you’re a pro in high heels. Yikes.
why would a heavily pregnant woman be wearing such high heels and long dress? it’s stupid isn’t it?
aimee looks good…acting wise better than some of the present actresses. with 3 young children, i wonder how she will find time to act again.
@janet72: Acting wise Aimee still has lots of room for improvement. Most of the time she’s just reading off her script.
It’s not difficult to be better than the new Miss HK actresses (if you know who I’m referring to…LOL). Aimee will be insulted if she knows she’s being compared to them 🙂 LOL
@lml1977 in terms of acting, she’s in same category as Grace. Both manage to get worse in each drama they subsequently filmed. I remember the first time i saw aimee in the BF 3 drama (i think that’s the title) and I thought she was cute. Then she got progressively worse. All she does now is rattle off her lines, rolls her eyes, sucks in her breath hard and dry cry with no tears or red eyes whatsoever. Terrible actress.
I’m guessing she will change out of her outfit and shoes after leaving the stage. At least I hope so as those shoes must be so uncomfortable!! I was never a fan of her acting but yes she is much better compared to the newbies. But I have grown to like her since she married Moises. 3 kids is going to be a lot of work though but then in HK, can hire helper so I’m sure she can go back to acting.

@janet72 I have grown to like her for sure. Having 3 kids will be unimaginable in the US but in HK, it’s pretty doable as helpers are inexpensive over there. Having a house that fit all the helpers will be the issue but liked you said, Moses has the $$$, just need to get a bigger house. =)
Will be interesting to know what sex the baby will be for sure! If it’s another boy, she’ll stay as the queen in the house! Not bad really…
Aimee must be crazy or something while she’s pregnant and wearing a high heel? She always say she’s all tired and everything but then once her new born turn about 6 to 9 months later she’s going to announce her pregnancy again just like she did for her 2nd child. Moses ain’t that rich either so I’m sure it will be hard on them hired a babysitter especially in Hong Kong I heard they’re very expensive to live there unless both their parents help out.
@asian2015 moses seems to be preventing her from acting. with 3 very young kids, is it possible to act, given the long hours? maids are not cheap and having 3 children is expensive biz.
