Park Hyun Sik and Han So Hee are Friends Turned Lovers in “Soundtrack #1”

Starring Park Hyun Sik and Han So Hee, Disney Plus’ music romance Soundtrack #1 gears up for its March 23 premiere. The latest teasers display different perspectives on unrequited love, when a long friendship is put to test as romantic possibilities bloom.

Soundtrack #1 tells a story between photographer Han Sun Woo (Park Hyun Sik) and lyricist Seo Eun Soo (Han So Hee), who have been friends for 20 years. Always there for each other through highs and lows, the two are inseparable despite having different personalities as Sun Woo is warm and detailed, while Eun Soo is lively and straightforward.

Finding comfort in their friendship, the pair did not think of any romantic possibilities until they unexpectedly had to cohabit for two weeks. Sharing the close space, they suddenly are unable to ignore each other’s soft gazes and gestures of love.

In the first teaser, Sun Woo shows his unrequited love through his long gazes and unwavering attention on Eun Soo. In the second teaser, she flips through a book and discovers an old photo of themselves that makes her ponder if they are friends or lovers.

Unrequited love can turn into something more when one risks taking a step. But who knows, maybe Hyun Sik and So Hee will both decide to go for it?
